We can’t wait to welcome you to our Main Campus in Horsforth for your Nursing Applicant Experience Day.

Your Applicant Experience Day is the perfect opportunity to get a feel for life at Leeds Trinity University.

You’ll get to meet other new students, explore the facilities where you’ll study, get to know some of your future lecturers, and take part in an interactive subject taster session during your visit.

Your Interactive subject session - Becoming a nurse of the future

Step into a hospital ward – without leaving campus. Experience what it's truly like to be a student nurse through our simulated practice environments.

You'll work with lifelike mannequins in a busy ward setting, carrying out real nursing tasks under pressure. Then shift to our simulated home environment and discover how delivering care in someone's home is completely different from a hospital.

From bedside to community care, you'll get a genuine taste of your nursing journey and your chosen field of practice.

9:30am – 9:45am	Arrival and registration
9:45am – 10:00am	Welcome to your Applicant Experience Day Meet your academic school and find out more about your day.
10:00am – 12:00pm	Interactive Subject Session Get a deeper insight into your course by experiencing your chosen subject in this interactive session.
12:00pm – 1:30pm	Personalise your Applicant Experience Day Use this time to tailor your visit to your interests and needs. Use your voucher to get some lunch and then visit the Information Fair to get your questions answered or join a Campus Tour to see key facilities and a selection of our student accommodation.
12:15pm – 12:45pm	Next steps – finance, accommodation and student Q&A Learn about your next steps, including key dates and deadlines. You’ll also join a Q&A session with current students who discuss their experiences commuting to campus or living in accommodation.
